Meet the Owner

Lauren is the speech-language pathologist and owner of Speak Up Therapies, LLC.

She has practiced in the field of speech therapy for 5 years in both the school setting and private clinic setting after graduating with her Masters in Speech Pathology from St. Louis University in 2019. She currently holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Lauren is Intro to PROMPT trained to be able to provide specialized services to children with apraxia of speech. However, she is also passionate about serving many other areas of the field, including articulation, literacy, AAC, feeding, and much more!

In her free time, Lauren enjoys baking, reading & gardening. She is married to her best friend and expert on the finance side of Speak Up Therapies, Matt. They live in the suburbs of Nashville with their crazy cat & dog who keep them entertained.
